This is an Irish single pot still whiskey from Dingle, bottled at 46.5%.
It is made from hand-selected casks that held bourbon, oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximenez sherry and red wine, married together into a single whiskey.
The nose offers gentle baking spices: nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. The palate is velvety, with cooked dark fruits, brown sugar and spiced stewed apples. The finish moves from pot still spices to toasted oak and soft honey, ending on a lingering note of nutmeg.
