Dingle Single Pot Still Release #4 (70cl, 46.5%)

This is an Irish single pot still whiskey from the independent Dingle Distillery, Release #4. It is made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley and is triple distilled. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The release marries whiskeys from first fill bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose offers dark fruit, figs, raisins, nuts and fine spice. On the palate come dark chocolate, ripe fruit, roasted nuts and notes of spicy wood and leather. The finish is long and spicy, with dark fruit and dry oak.
