Tronçais is a whisky from Distillerie de Monsieur Balthazar that draws on Barbadian expertise, the birthplace of rum. It is distilled twice in Holstein pot stills and aged for 12 years in new casks from the Tronçais forest.
The mash combines organic maize, malted barley and rye. The whisky is bottled without chill filtration.
The house takes a craft approach, with a rigorous selection of casks.
