This is a seven-year-old straight rye whiskey from Doc Swinson's, bottled in bond.
The Bottled-in-Bond name comes from a law passed by the Federal Government in 1897. It means the whiskey was produced by one distiller, at one distillery, in a single distilling season. It was aged for at least four years, left unadulterated apart from water, and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
