A young Dolcetto d'Alba from Ballarin, showing a bright ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose brings cherry and marasca, with hints of violet and a light herbaceous note. The palate is smooth, with balanced acidity, fine tannins and a juicy centre, leaving a savoury and pleasantly persistent finish. It is suggested with cured meats, tomato pasta, savoury pies, white meats, fresh cheeses and rustic pizzas, and is best enjoyed young at around 14-16 C.
