Domaine Badoz Arrogance Chardonnay 2021 Jura (75cl, 13%)

This is an organic white wine from Domaine Badoz in the Jura, made from 100% Chardonnay. The grapes come from Les Roussots, one of the estate's best plots, where the vines are more than 50 years old. The fruit is carefully sorted, then fermented with its own yeasts in oak from Burgundy coopers and aged for 12 months in French oak. The colour is clear, pale gold. The nose is aromatic, with well-integrated oak and fine, discreet notes of white fruit, melon and light salty minerality. The finish is full and harmonious, with fresh, lively acidity.
