Don Julio Ultima Reserva Extra Añejo (75cl)

Don Julio Ultima Reserva is an Extra Añejo tequila made from the agave of the final field Don Julio planted with his family in 2006. That harvest was distilled and set aside, then matured through a Solera system that combines tequilas finished in different casks. It rests for 3 years in oak that previously held bourbon and is finished in Madeira wine-seasoned casks. Only 4,000 bottles were produced. The nose is toasted oak and caramel, the palate carries hints of apricot and orange, and the finish is smooth with honeyed agave.
