A 15 year old Speyside single malt released for Douglas Laing's 75th anniversary. It was distilled in November 2008 and bottled in November 2023 at 48.4% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring.
The whisky matured in a single sherry butt, and the release was limited to 705 bottles.
The nose combines dark chocolate, freshly brewed espresso, dried fruit, rich malt and baking spices. On the palate come stewed plums, ginger, caramelised orange peel, toasted walnuts and tart cranberries. The finish is long and rich, with dark chocolate, dried fruit and gentle spice.
