Douglas Laing's Rock Island 21 Years Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.8%)

Rock Island 21 Years Old is a limited edition blended malt from Douglas Laing, made only from Island malt whiskies and bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle. The blend includes whiskies from Arran and Jura, along with some from Orkney and Islay. It belongs to the Remarkable Regional Malts range from Douglas Laing. Described as maritime, salty and slightly smoky, it has a nose of charcoal, rock pools, sea spray, polished leather, damp forest floor, citrus, candy canes and vanilla custard. The palate is peppery with peat and a hint of iodine, and the finish is lingering peat and rubber.
