This is a Hebridean single malt from Isle of Raasay, a limited release in the Oak Species Maturation Series. It was distilled on 1 June 2021, matured for four years in Hungarian oak ex-Oloroso sherry barriques and bottled in March 2026 at cask strength, 50%. The outturn is 8,000 bottles. It is lightly peated, non-chill-filtered and free of added colour.
The nose is gently smoky, with ginger and freshly roasted coffee. On the palate, juicy blackberry meets the bittersweet edge of dark chocolate, while the Hungarian oak adds a fine, dry spice.
