Douglas Laing's Rock Island Maritime Island Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Rock Island is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, made from single malts distilled on Scotland's whisky islands. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and is described as maritime, salty and slightly smoky. The nose is of wave-soaked rocks and fresh, salty sea air. On the palate, soft and rather sweet peat runs alongside smoke, honey, damp ash, liquorice and a late note of pepper. The finish repeats what came before.
