Douglas Laing's The Epicurean Three Wood Finish

The Epicurean Three Wood Finish is a limited edition blended malt from Douglas Laing, made entirely from Lowland distillates and matured in three kinds of cask. Virgin oak adds pronounced spicy notes, bourbon casks bring creamy vanilla and honey, and sherry casks give a rich, fruity depth. The nose combines citrus, vanilla and toasted oak, with honey, dried fruit and spice alongside. The palate is soft and rich, with vanilla, spice, baked apple, sherry fruit and a syrupy sweetness. The finish is long and smooth, with toffee, dark fruit and oak.
