Scallywag 10 Year Old is a small-batch Speyside blended malt from Douglas Laing & Co., made as a tribute to the founder's Fox Terriers. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is blended entirely from Speyside single malts, including Macallan, Glenrothes and Mortlach, and matured for a minimum of 10 years in Spanish sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, cinnamon and honeycomb. The palate is velvety and full bodied, with dark chocolate, stewed fruit and baking spice. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit and cocoa powder.
