The Epicurean is a Lowland blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is very buttery, with lemongrass, cereal and grain, a fruity touch of green banana and fresh green mint. Apples, pears and white grapes come first on the palate, followed by an elegant grassiness and chocolatey toffee that adds a little sugary sweetness. A pinch of pepper lingers into the finish.
