The Epicurean Glasgow Edition #2 Cuvée Finish is a Lowland blended malt from Douglas Laing & Co., released in 2023 as a tribute to the company's home city of Glasgow. Only 5,100 bottles were made, each of 700ml. It marries single-cask single malts from the Lowlands, then finishes them for an extended period in French ex-Cuvée oak casks. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.4% ABV, without added colouring or chill filtration. The nose is sweet malt and citrus blossom with vanilla oak, lemon zest and buttery shortbread. The palate has crisp orchard fruit, candied citrus, toasted almonds and warming spice. The finish is long and fresh, with citrus, vanilla and gentle oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
