The Epicurean is a small-batch Lowland blended malt from Douglas Laing & Co., part of its Remarkable Regional Malts collection. It combines single malts from both the east and the west of the Lowlands. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The nose is fresh and rich in barley, with citrus, floral aromas and delicate herbal notes. The palate is sweet and mouth-coating, with crunchy sugar, charred citrus, mixed spice, thyme, ripe peach and hard candy. The finish is herbal and malty, with almonds, freshly cut grass and lingering burnt sugar.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
