This is a 13-year-old Dufftown single malt, distilled on 23 April 2008 and matured in a bourbon barrel. Artful Dodger bottled it on 26 May 2021 at its natural cask strength of 57.6% ABV, without chill filtration or added colouring.
It is a single-cask release of 348 bottles, presented in 50cl bottles in a black box with gold accents.
The nose combines sweet malt, bourbon vanilla and apple, with light oak spice and oat biscuits. The palate is dry, with salted caramel, warm porridge and a touch of whipped cream. The long finish fades gently to sweet caramel candies.
