Dufftown – 16 Year Old Cadenhead's Original Collection 100% Bourbon Hogsheads

This is a 16 year old Dufftown single malt from Speyside, bottled by Cadenhead in its Original Collection. It was matured entirely in bourbon hogsheads. Most of the distillery's output goes into blends, which makes a single malt bottling of Dufftown a less common sight. The bourbon hogsheads give a profile of sweetness and fruit. The palate is described as pear drops, icing sugar, tinned fruit, wholegrain oats and golden syrup.
