This is an 8 year old Duich distilled in 2016 and bottled by Dràm Mòr Group for its Spring Release 2024. The whisky matured in a single bourbon cask and was then finished in a first fill PX sherry hogshead. Only 230 bottles were filled.
The nose is very subtle at first, then opens slowly to a fruity, warming character with plenty of Tamdhu distillery influence. The palate is well balanced, with warming spices, creamy fudge, toffee and dried sherry notes. The finish is very long.
