This is a French VSOP brandy at 40% ABV, sold in a 70cl bottle. It is made from select French wines, double-distilled and matured in oak barrels for a minimum of four years.
The oak ageing gives it its richness and smoothness, and earns the VSOP designation.
On the nose there are ripe orchard fruits, vanilla and gently toasted oak. The palate is smooth and rounded, with caramel, baked apple and light spice in a soft, warming texture. The finish is of medium length, with lingering vanilla and a subtle oak sweetness.
