This is a single cask rye whisky from East London Liquor Co, distilled on-site in East London. The mash bill is 55% Norfolk rye and 45% Maris Otter barley, fermented with saison yeast, and the spirit was matured in a second-fill Chardonnay cask. It was bottled at cask strength, 57% ABV, without chill filtration, and 273 bottles were drawn from Cask #57. Expect red orchard fruit, birch sap, peach compote, leather and freshly cut grass.
