This is the 2023 release in Eden Mill's Art of St Andrews collection, a lightly peated single malt bottled at 46.5% ABV. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in a combination of Bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks. Head Distiller Scott Ferguson then chose ex-grande champagne cognac casks to finish it. The label artwork is by Fife-based illustrator Jill Calder, inspired by the flora, fauna and coastline of St Andrews and the Eden Estuary.
The nose is warming and rich, with gentle peat smoke and candied grape and apricot. Juicy yellow fruit and floral peat lead the palate, and the finish is earthy and oaky.
