Edradour – 10 Year Old 2016/2026 1st Fill Sauternes Casks Small Batch (70cl, 46%)

A 10 year old Highland single malt from Edradour, distilled in February 2016 and bottled in April 2026 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a small batch distillery bottling, without added colour and not chill-filtered. The whisky spent its whole maturation in first-fill Sauternes hogsheads, so the Bordeaux sweet-wine casks were with the new make for the full decade rather than for a short finish. The nose brings honey, vanilla, delicate blossom and ripe stone fruit. On the palate are creamy orange marmalade, fresh apricot and subtle malt notes. The finish is long, sweet and fruity, with soft wood spice.
