This is a 10 year old Edradour in a 20cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is the Distillery Edition, a Highland single malt matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines warm malt and ripe fruit with soft sweetness, dried fruit, Oloroso and almonds, with a hint of oak. On the palate it is round and full-bodied, with vanilla, cereal, dried fruit, fine spice, spiced fruit cake, golden syrup and a light honey and almond note.
The finish is pleasantly long, soft and slightly dry, with wood, oak and mild spices.
