Edradour – 10 Year Old Equinox & Solstice Summer, Whisky Sponge (70cl, 48.5%)

This is a 10 year old Edradour single malt from Whisky Sponge, part of its Equinox & Solstice series, bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle. Each annual set of four bottlings carries commissioned artwork by a different artist, and the 2021 set features E K Fitzgibbon. The whisky is a vatting of two first fill bourbon barrels, filled in 2003 and 2010. The two ages are described as balancing well together in a rich, sweet, spicy and robust dram.
