This is an 11-year-old single cask Edradour, matured with Sauvignon cask influence, in a 70cl bottle at 48.2% ABV. Cask 1001 comes from a first collaboration between the Highland distillery, east of Pitlochry, and the St. Michael-Eppan winery in South Tyrol. It is one of seven new single casks produced with the winery for its Sanct Valentin range. The distillery was taken over by Andrew Symington, founder of Signatory, in 2002, and still makes some of its whisky with original equipment from the 19th century. The whisky is bottled without added colour.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
