This is an 11 year old single malt from Edradour, a Highland distillery east of Pitlochry. It was matured in a Sauvignon cask, number 1002, and is bottled at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle without chill-filtration or added colour. The bottling belongs to Edradour's first collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery of South Tyrol, which produced seven new single casks. The winery's Sanct Valentin range is selected by cellar master Hans Terzer, who has around 40 years of experience. Edradour has been owned by Andrew Symington, founder of Signatory, since 2002, and parts of its production still use equipment from the 19th century.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
