First fill Oloroso butt
This Edradour was distilled in September 2012 and bottled in July 2025 after twelve years in a first fill Oloroso butt. It is a single cask bottling from Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection, Itineraires, at 59.2% ABV, with 564 bottles drawn from the cask. It marks the distillery's 200th anniversary. Founded in 1825 as Glenforres, Edradour has had Andrew Symington of Signatory Vintage as its director since 2002, and the bottler created a pair of releases for Edradour and Ballechin. The nose is rich, with cut hay, dried apricot, leather and toasted almond. The palate is lively and creamy, with candied lemon, vanilla, guava and quince jelly, and the finish is deep, with cocoa, ginger and spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
