Edradour 12 Years Old is a Highland single malt from the small Edradour distillery, bottled at 48.2% after maturation in Bordeaux wine casks.
The wine casks add red fruits, dark berries and dry spice to the malty base character of Edradour.
The nose combines red berries, dark fruit, malt, vanilla and spice. The palate is full-bodied, with fruit, caramel, spicy oak and slightly dry wine notes. The finish is medium to long, fruity and spicy.
