This is a 12 year old Edradour single malt, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The name Caledonia comes from the well-known song of that title by the songwriter Dougie MacLean.
The nose is sweet. The palate is soft, with fruit, sherry, vanilla and caramel, and light malty and peaty notes. The finish is long, with wood, vanilla, a slightly oily texture, and malt and peat returning.
