A twelve-year-old Highland single malt from Edradour, distilled in August 2013. It matured for the full twelve years in first-fill Burgundy hogsheads that previously held Pinot Noir, and is released as a small batch at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and pale gold in colour, with an oily texture.
The nose offers delicate red fruits and dried cherries. On the palate, gentle sweetness and subtle vanilla meet an earthiness reminiscent of Burgundy.
