The nose pairs sultanas and figs with honey. The palate suggests liquid Christmas cake, toasted almonds and a touch of orange spice, and slides over the tongue like syrup. A little water adds depth as fruit and Oloroso sherry wood come forward. The finish is gently warm, spiced and dry.
