A limited single cask Edradour from the distillery's 200th anniversary edition. It was distilled on 12 October 1999, matured for 25 years in a first-fill Bordeaux hogshead and bottled on 2 July 2025 at a natural cask strength of 55.4%. The cask gave 294 bottles of 70cl.
The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has ripe red berries, plum and black cherry with dark chocolate, vanilla and lightly spiced oak. The palate is full, with blackcurrant, black cherry, toasted oak and cocoa, and red wine spice and mild pepper add tension. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit, cocoa and spicy oak.
