This Edradour single cask was bottled for the distillery's 200th anniversary. The whisky was distilled in 1999 and matured for 25 years entirely in a first-fill Madeira hogshead, cask 901, rather than receiving a short finish in it.
It was bottled in July 2025 at a cask strength of 55%, without chill-filtering or added colour. The cask yielded 294 bottles, presented in the Ibisco decanter.
The nose combines dried apricots, raisins and honey with polished oak and Madeira sweetness. The palate is full and oily, with figs, sultanas, candied citrus peel, dark chocolate and hazelnuts. The long, warming finish brings honey, cocoa and gentle oak.
