Edradour – 2012/2025 12 Year Old 1st Fill Oloroso Butt (70cl, 59.2%)

This is a 12 year old Edradour single malt, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 by Signatory Vintage at 59.2% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a first fill Oloroso butt. The release marks the 200th anniversary of Edradour, which was founded in 1825 under the name Glenforres by farmers from the Perth region. Signatory has dedicated a pair of bottlings to the distillery's two single malts, Edradour and Ballechin. It is described as fruity, like a fruit basket, with a well-integrated oak character and tangy, fresh notes.
