Edradour – 2013/2026 12 Year Old 1st Fill Burgundy Wine Casks Small Batch (70cl, 46%)

This is Edradour 12 Year Old, a small batch single malt from the Highlands, distilled in August 2013 and bottled in April 2026 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured for its whole life in first-fill hogsheads that had previously held Pinot Noir Burgundy wine, rather than receiving a short finish. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose offers dried cherries, fine vanilla and a faint earthiness. On the palate there is red cherry and balanced sweetness, with gentle, elegant spice. The finish is long, with vanilla and fine spice lingering.
