This Edradour is a 10 year old single malt, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 by Signatory at 59.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt.
Edradour was founded in 1825 as Glenforres and renamed in 1837. Andrew Symington, founder of Signatory Vintage, bought it in 2002, and since 2018 its whisky has been made in a new distillery next to the old one.
The nose shows cherry brandy rancio, dark chocolate, cinnamon, beeswax, heather honey and dried dates, figs and raisins. The palate brings vanilla, coffee and salted caramel, and the long finish moves through citrus zest, tobacco, clove and mango.
