This Edradour is a single cask Highland malt bottled by Best Dram in its Finest Whisky Flavours series. It was distilled on 29 January 2020 and matured for six years in cask 36, a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, before bottling on 20 July 2026.
The cask gave 313 bottles at a cask strength of 59.7%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. A light smokiness with a hint of peat sits alongside the sherry fruit.
On the nose are concentrated raisins, ripe plums and strong sherry, with spicy oak and a touch of smoke. The palate is full and syrupy, with sweet dried dark fruit, dense sherry and firm oak spice. The long finish keeps sweet raisin notes, with soft wood spice and fine smoke.
