This is a 21 year old single malt from Edradour in Perthshire, distilled in 2003 and matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. It was bottled at its natural cask strength of 54.3% on 6 September 2024, without chill-filtration or added colour, in 70cl bottles from a run of 1,126.
The nose combines creamy vanilla and honey with light orchard fruit, citrus and toasted oak. On the palate, toffee and coconut meet tropical fruit, malty pastry and spicy oak, with a full, slightly oily texture. The long finish brings vanilla, fudge and mandarin, then malt, salted caramel, a little dried fruit and toasted wood.
