Edradour – 25 (1999/2025) #811 1st Fill Bordeaux Cask 200th Anniversary (70cl, 54.8%)

This Edradour 25 Year Old marks the 200th anniversary of the Pitlochry distillery, founded in 1825. It is a single cask Highland malt, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2025 at 54.8% in a 70cl bottle. For a quarter of a century it matured in a first-fill Bordeaux red wine hogshead, cask #811, under distillery owner Andrew Symington. Only 272 bottles were drawn from it. The cask brings the heavy, creamy Edradour character together with the fruity, dry note of the wine.
