Edradour – Caledonia 12 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Edradour, released as a single cask bottling at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was selected by the songwriter Dougie Maclean, who named it after his song Caledonia. The whisky was first matured in bourbon casks, then finished for four to five years in oloroso sherry casks. It is not chill-filtered, and is described as having depth and body, in the manner of whisky made in an older style.
