A Japanese single malt from the White Oak distillery of Eigashima Shuzo in Akashi, Hyogo. It is made from 100% malted barley at a single distillery, lightly peated, and bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky is vatted from several kinds of cask: ex-bourbon, barley shochu, sherry and new oak.
Tasting notes describe yellow apple, white chocolate and salted caramel, with subtle peat and an oceanic salinity running underneath. The finish is long and buttery.
