Elements of Islay Campfire is a limited edition blended malt made for the Feis Ile festival in 2025 and bottled at 54.5%. It combines three single malts from the north and south coasts of Islay, matured in Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks, first-fill bourbon casks and lightly charred, toasted new oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The blend aims at the taste of toasted marshmallows and chocolate biscuits, set against heavy Islay smoke. The nose is big and smoky, with warm ginger, dark chocolate, burnt caramel and candied orange. The palate is powerful, and the very long finish brings smoke and sherry sweetness into balance.
