A blended malt from Islay in the Elements of Islay range, bottled by independent bottler Elixir Distillers. It brings together two sides of the island: a rich, smoky malt from the south coast and a fresher, fruitier malt from the north. Whiskies from bourbon, sherry and refill casks go into the blend. It is bottled at 46%, without chill-filtration or added colour.
Fresh coffee with hot milk, sugared almonds and white chocolate truffles sit alongside light peat smoke on the nose. The palate is sweet and mineral, with vanilla-tinged smoke and woody spice. The finish keeps a little smoke and soft fruit.
