Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Batch A124 (59.5%)

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof is an uncut, non-chill-filtered straight bourbon from Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, released in small batches three times a year. Batch A124 is the first release of 2024, in January, and carries an age statement of 10 years and 9 months. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.5% (119 proof). The nose combines toasted caramel, vanilla bean and sweet corn with charred oak, nutmeg and ripe stone fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with butterscotch, graham cracker, milk chocolate and roasted pecans, balanced by pepper and wood tannins. The finish is long, with dark brown sugar, sweet oak and baking spices.
