Elijah Craig – Small Batch Bourbon (47%)

Elijah Craig Small Batch is a bourbon bottled at 47%. It was created to take the place of the 12 Year Old expression, which the producers decided to discontinue, and it keeps to the quality Elijah Craig is known for, including a core of cooked apple with honeyed notes. The nose brings honeycomb, fresh cedar, marmalade and a little spicy cardamom. On the palate there are baked apples with a hint of cinnamon, then fresh honey and cookie dough. The finish holds lingering nutmeg and charred oak.
