Ezra Brooks Distiller's Collection Barrel Proof is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at cask strength, 53.5% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It is made under the Lux Row Distillers name in Bardstown.
Each barrel is hand-selected by a Barrel Ambassador, a member of the distillery staff or Master Distiller John Rempe, then bottled uncut and charcoal filtered. The mashbill is 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, clove and star anise, with raisin and a little citrus rind. The palate is rich with toffee, almond brittle, black pepper and baked apple. The finish is medium to long, with dry oak, pepper and vanilla cream.
