This is a Linkwood 12 Year Old from the Fable Folk Chapter Two release, bottled at 54.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was distilled on 6 October 2008, matured in a hogshead and bottled on 17 May 2021, with 290 bottles in the outturn.
The nose offers barley sugars, yellow fruit, apple, banana, apricot and peach, with a clear lemon zest aroma and ripe plums. Water brings ripe melon, guava and faint allspice. The palate is sweet and soft, with lemon, mint, cinnamon, green tea, lemon cake and dried pineapple. The finish is short to medium and clean, with green grapes, kiwi, cinnamon and green apple skin.
