Fary Lochan 6 Year Old is a Danish single malt from a craft distillery in Jutland, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2019. It is bottled at 47.1% in a 50cl bottle.
Batch #01 is the distillery's first official aged release from virgin oak, with all six years spent in virgin American oak casks.
The nose is fresh oak, vanilla custard and caramel, with light citrus, subtle floral notes and gentle spice. The palate is rich and creamy, with vanilla, butterscotch, white pepper, toasted oak and citrus zest against malty sweetness. The finish is medium to long, with warming spice, oak tannins, vanilla and a dry edge.
