Find 2 from The Liquid Madness is a 7 year old single malt from Fary Lochan, a Danish distillery in Jutland. It was distilled in June 2014, matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled in August 2021 at 60.3% ABV, in a 50cl bottle. The outturn is 430 bottles, and no colouring has been added. The malt is not smoky.
The nose has honey, vanilla, herbs and spice, with leather, tobacco, oranges, lemon drops and a hint of old furniture polish. The palate is oily and peppery to start, then brings cinnamon, crème brûlée crust, peanuts, salted caramel and dark chocolate, turning dry. The finish is medium in length and slightly dry, with woody bitterness and cocoa powder.
